What We Require of Students
Aside from a genuine
desire to learn and a good, open and motivated frame of mind, we require
the following things of students.

HOMEWORK AND PRACTICE
Homework is assigned
at every lesson. My view is we can have a really good lesson whether or
not you did your all your homework. But a little correct practice every
day will really show the most progress.

BOOKS
I will pick up the
books we need bill you at my cost. The average cost of books in the first
year is roughly $30 about every four months.

RECITALS
We will hold spring
and fall recitals for all students. Parents and families are expected
to come, watch and listen. Your student will grow as a pianist from
his or her performance in front of our small, intimate audience.
The feeling of accomplishment each student feels after a successful
recital is a tremendously valuable encouragement as well as a teaching
tool. Parent and family participation is essential in this process;
especially for younger students.
