Qualifications
I have played and
studied piano and other keyboards for over 30 years. My teachers
include Jac Murphy, Austin College, Royal Academy of Music, and University of North Texas.
MY VALUES FOR TEACHING
- It is important to me to
guide each student into a lasting, practical enjoyment of playing
well.
- We build a strong,
complete, true foundation. It used to drive me crazy to hear piano
students who, after many years of lessons, did not understand rhythm
or who could not improvise at all. So, it is important to show each
student how to build musical skills and enjoyment on a completely
thorough foundation.
